Tim Carl is a multi-talented individual with diverse experiences in various fields, including wine-making, biology, and management. He exhibits a vast array of academic qualifications, starting from a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Molecular Biology from the University of Oregon, AS with Honors in Biology at Santa Rosa Junior College, up to Ph.D. in Biology from both Harvard and the University of Colorado. Additionally, he also studied various wine and vineyard classes at the University of California, Davis and completed Wine Specialist Training at Boston University.
Aside from his impressive academic credentials, Tim Carl gained other practical experiences, including being a chef at many California restaurants, Quartermaster in the US Navy, and Co-founder and Managing Partner at Knights Bridge Winery. Moreover, he worked at reputable consultancy firms, including McKinsey & Company as a Consultant and Putnam Associates, Inc. as a Senior Consultant. He also served as a fellow at Harvard.
Currently, Tim manages his LLC, offering versatile catering services for his clients. He also worked as a Freelance Photojournalist at Carl Consulting, Meditation and Fitness Instructor at Solage Calistoga, and Chef.
