Robert Rice is a seasoned entrepreneur and XR pioneer with over 25 years of experience in interactive and immersive media. He has worked on some of the first multiplayer virtual reality arcade games such as Wolfenstein VR and designed real-time 3D MMORPGs. Robert is an expert in augmented reality, virtual reality, and XR cloud, and has been recognized as an Internet Gaming Pioneer in Advertising Age magazine and a Founding Father of the Digital Nation by The Raleigh News & Observer.

Robert is the CEO and founder of Omniscape, where he focuses on the fundamental technologies for the convergence of AR and VR, spatial intelligence, social commerce, AI-driven avatars and intelligent agents, virtual goods, the Internet of Things, and geolocal contextual media. He is also the creator of Social Kinematics and has authored MMO Evolution.

As a former AR/VR/XR consultant, advisor, speaker, and evangelist, Robert has played a key role in the growth and development of the industry. He has founded and chaired various organizations, including the AR Consortium, and has served on the board of directors for the RTP Chapter at AITP.
