Alex D'Anna is a highly experienced sales engineering executive with a proven track record of leading high-growth teams in early-stage companies and complex global organizations. He is currently the Vice President of EMEA Sales Engineering at Snowflake, a cloud-based data-warehousing platform building the Data Cloud. Prior to Snowflake, D'Anna held several leadership roles at Pure Storage, where he led Presales for Major Accounts & Core Markets, founded and led Global Systems Integrators, and created the Channel SE organization. He also founded EMEA Technical Operations for Virtana, starting as the first PreSales Engineer before scaling the team and taking the business from start to $25 million/year.

D'Anna is an Advisor at Simudyne, a London-based Fintech firm focused on Agent-based modelling for Financial Services. He is also a founding member of Constellation Partners, a consultancy focused on helping tech companies build Ops in EMEA. Driven by a passion for giving back, D'Anna is active in several non-profits working to combat health issues, poverty, and women's rights. He has led charity cycle events in Europe, raising over $500k for Action Medical and MacMillan Cancer UK since 2016.

D'Anna studied Information Technology at both the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business and the University of California, Los Angeles. With his expertise in sales engineering, leadership, business strategy, and the tech industry, he is a valuable asset to any organization he works with.
