Alejandro Lopez T. is an accomplished Aerospace Engineer and Assistant Professor at the University of Concepcion with a diverse set of experiences in the space industry. He has a keen interest in macroeconomics and business, which has informed his approach to space-related industry and economy. Alejandro is the track coordinator for the Aerospace Engineering Major, which has produced around 100 graduates since its inception in 2002. He is also the Director of the "New Space: Entrepreneurship and Innovation" initiative, which aims to foster development in the space industry in the Biobio region. Alejandro's academic achievements include a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Delft University of Technology and a Ph.D. in Space Systems Engineering from Brazil's Institute for Space Research. His experiences range from IT support technician at Notaria Espinosa Bancalari to Satellite Engineer at the Chilean Space Agency. Alejandro is an alumni of the International Space University and an active member of multiple professional networks. When he's not working, he enjoys cooking, traveling, and event coordination.
