Maykel Loomans is a designer and digital product builder with an impressive background. He studied at Hogeschool Zuyd and holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Communication and Multimedia Design. Maykel has an extensive work history, beginning his career as Creative Director at Airglow Studios. He then went on to work as a Product Designer at Instagram, Facebook, and miekd before becoming Head of Product & Design at Glossier, Inc. Currently, he is the Principal Designer & Design Director at Brex and is building a new project called shoebox.photo. His work and interests extend beyond design and technology as he is vocal about social justice issues like Black Lives Matter and advocates for people to wear masks.
