Igor Kovanov, a seasoned entrepreneur and investor well-known for his expert advice on retail and consumer goods sectors, has dedicated his career to promoting entrepreneurship across Russia. Before that, Kovanov worked in various high-level positions, including founder and managing partner at Falcon Advisors, where he closed over 34 M&A deals worth over $2bn. In addition, he worked in senior investment banking and private equity roles with Deutsche Bank, The Sputnik Group, and Taiga Capital. Kovanov's experience in investment banking and private equity industry focused on retail sectors, including food, pharmacy, DIY, electronics, auto, drogery, fashion, and online.

Kovanov's strong network in the retail and FMCG sectors has seen him become a trusted expert in the industry, with significant knowledge of over 200 retail networks in Russia. His proficiency in the field has also led to the organization of various successful events, including the Russian Retail Awards 2016 and the Nedelya Rossiskogo Rityela 2016.

Kovanov, a former Financial Analyst at Investment Analysis Department at Lukoil, studied at the State University Higher School of Economics. Besides, he is currently a serial entrepreneur and investor.
