Melissa Russett, a former Account Executive at Carta and Enterprise Sales Development Representative at App Annie, is pivoting toward becoming a nurse to utilize her communication skills, empathy, and affinity for problem-solving. Melissa has a passion for continuous learning, which she developed while studying economics and political science at California State University Channel Islands. Her interest in diplomacy and research led her to work as a Model United Nations delegate, analyze the hiring likelihood for new mothers as a research assistant, and study the post-apartheid economic and political climate in South Africa. Outside of work, Melissa enjoys biking, hiking with her pup, and practicing night photography.
