Nico Hruby is an accomplished digital sports and stadium IT management professional with more than 14 years of experience in the field. With a particular focus on digitization and digital strategy, he has worked on national and international stadium and club projects, including FIFA Digital, Allianz Arena Munich, and the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany. Nico has worked with clients such as Audi, Swisscom, and Juventus Turin, and has experience in ticketing systems, customer relationship management (CRM), PoS/cashless payment systems, RFID/NFC chip technologies, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. He is a Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at SV Werder Bremen, where he is responsible for spearheading the digital strategy of the company.
Nico attended Gymnasium Trossingen and studied Diplom Betriebswirt (FH) in Sports Management at Hochschule Heilbronn - Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft. In addition to his role at SV Werder Bremen, he has worked in several management and project management roles, including as the Managing Director, Founder & Owner at goal Projektmanagement UG and Head of Project Management at BTD Group.
