Gustavo Faleiros is an accomplished journalist and media trainer with extensive expertise in data-driven journalism. He studied Environmental Politics and Globalization at King's College London and Journalism at PUC-SP. Gustavo founded InfoAmazonia in 2012, a digital map that leverages satellite and publicly available data to monitor the Amazon rainforest. He is also the former Executive Editor of O Eco, where he covered infrastructure, energy, and sanitation. Gustavo has held key positions and contributed to multiple organizations such as the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, Internews Network, and the International Center for Journalists, where he served as a Knight International Journalism Fellow. As a Consultant at Patri, he advised on environmental issues in the Amazon Basin, and as a Reporter at Valor Econômico S/A, he reported on national and international issues.
