Gina Burger is a highly educated individual with a strong background in Arabic studies, peace and conflict studies, international relations, political science, and international law.

She studied Arabic (MSA/EQA) at Kalimat Language and Cultural Centre Cairo, Master of Arts in Peace and Conflict Studies and International Relations at Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen, and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Law at Eberhard Karls University Tübingen, Université de Genève, Graduate Institute Geneva.

Gina has held various significant roles in different organizations. She has served as a Project Manager for Trade and Private Sector Development at GOPA Consultants and as a Senior Policy Officer at the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.

Additionally, Gina has experience as a Project Coordinator in Maghreb at Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt, PTB. She has also been part of the Postgraduate Training Programme for Development Cooperation at Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE) and served as a Student Assistant at Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen.

Her internship experiences include roles at Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, Federal Foreign Office of Germany, Institute of Political Science at Eberhard Karls University Tuebingen, and German Bundestag under the Bureau of Christel Riemann-Hanewinckel, MP.
