Mia Howard is a highly skilled and experienced professional with extensive knowledge in education, social work, and yoga therapy. She has obtained various degrees and certifications, including MS Ed., Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Bank Street College of Education, MSW, Clinical Social Work from Fordham University, MA, Clinical Psychology from Adelphi University, and certified yoga therapist from Pure Yoga. Additionally, Mia has studied Certified Hatha Yoga Teacher, Hatha Yoga, and Certified Children's Yoga Teacher, Children's Yoga at KarmaKids Yoga.
Mia has worked with children with special needs in the Classroom Aid program for the Ridgewood Board of Education, substituted for the Englewood Public School District and Paramus Public School District, and has worked as a teacher at Tutor's Link, The Montessori House, and Primoris Academy. She has also taught yoga at various studios, including the NOFO Wellness Center and Shelter Island Yoga and Fitness.
