Jason Bates is a seasoned digital banking executive with extensive experience creating, building, and testing next-generation digital banking propositions. He is the co-founder and Deputy CEO of 11:FS, where he leads delivery teams in work across the financial services market to help banks drive digital transformation.

Previously, Jason co-founded two digital banks - Monzo and Starling. He worked as their Chief Customer Officer, where he created the propositions, built product teams, led the design development of the award-winning Monzo app, and defended regulatory applications with the FCA and PRA.

Jason is a graduate of the University of Liverpool, where he studied Biochemistry, Medicine, and Wellcome Trust Studentship in Toxicology. He has served on the innovation advisory board at Rabobank, been a Permanent Board Advisor and Investor at Xinja, and a Non-Executive Director at Bud.

His expertise includes digital banking, product development, innovation, entrepreneurship, and toxicology.
