Brian Farrar is an accomplished employment attorney who assists employees and businesses with navigating complex employment laws. With extensive experience litigating cases in federal and state courts, he has successfully represented all types of clients in disputes over wrongful termination, discrimination, unequal pay, breach of contract, wage and hour violations, and other civil rights matters. Farrar is particularly skilled in non-compete agreements and advises clients on all types of employment contracts, including severance agreements. He has drafted and negotiated compensation packages for corporate executives where millions of dollars are at stake. Before joining Sterling Attorneys in 2015, he served as Senior Counsel for the City of New York, where he handled civil rights cases on behalf of the municipality. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Michigan and his Doctor of Law from Hofstra University School of Law.
