Mike Cook is an experienced entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience working in various industries, including financial services, wireless, cable, satellite, and subprime finance. He has been instrumental in building several data breach, fraud and credit risk applications and compliance, manual verification, and account management solutions. Cook is a proven innovator with three awarded patents and four pending patents, and he has authored several white papers and has been invited to speak often at conferences.

One of Cook's most significant achievements was co-founding ID Analytics in 2002, where he served as the Chief Operating Officer. Under his guidance, the company grew substantially and served over 280 enterprise clients, including the nation's leading banks, credit card issuers, and mobile network carriers. Cook's role at ID Analytics included product, marketing, and strategy development, and he was responsible for the company's daily operations, including InfoSecurity and Operations. ID Analytics was eventually acquired by LifeLock, a leading identity theft protection company.

Cook's industry expertise in data breach, fraud patterns, and identity theft is highly regarded, and he has provided Congressional Testimony on behalf of Veteran Affairs related to the potential impact of their data breach in 2006, which impacted 26.5mm US Veterans, the largest US identity-level data breach to date. Cook's experience includes senior management roles with Experian, Early Warning Services, and American Express.

Currently, Cook is the VP-Commercialization-Fraud Solutions at Socure and previously served as a Strategic Advisor at Singular Key and SentiLink, VP - Data Strategy, Identity and Authentication at Early Warning®, CEO and founder at XOR Data Exchange, Inc., Group Business Executive at Early Warning Services, and Board Member at Identity Theft Resource Center.
