Gerald Byrne is an accomplished software and hardware leader with over 20 years of experience in growing businesses, teams, and people. He has been recognized as "Manager of the Year" in two different companies for his focus on transforming leaders and organizations by building high-performance, successful, and dynamic teams. With a passion for people development, empowering others, and leading through change, Gerald has developed and implemented two successful projects, the Global Social Selling program, and the EMEA Future Leadership Program - FLP.

Gerald is an expert in creating systems and processes that empower people and organizations to their highest level of performance. He has built teams from ground-up, recruited sales makers and managers, developed new and existing markets, built marketing and sales operation plans, and driven profitable growth across diverse global markets, including the United States, Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

As the EMEA Channel & Partner leader, Gerald grew the Partner business from an annual business delivering $48m in revenue to $120m in annual revenue over the period of two years, which equated to 25% of all Dell EMEA revenue. The successful channel programs he created and ran across the business led to a 22% increase in solution sales and an 8% increase in Partner margins for Dell in EMEA.

Gerald's education includes Diploma, Marketing/Marketing Management, General, Diploma, Certificate, and Graduateship at The Marketing Institute of Ireland. He is currently the Vice President of Sales at GoTo and has previously held numerous leadership roles in Citrix, Dell, and GE Capital.
