Mauro Rego is a senior designer and education enthusiast with extensive experience in designing digital services, managing teams, and organizing learning formats for communities. With degrees from distinguished institutions such as Hasso Plattner Institute, Fachhochschule Köln, Politecnico di Milano, Universidade Federal do Paraná, and Universidade Federal da Bahia, Mauro has served in several positions throughout his career. He began his professional journey as a research assistant at Universidade Federal do Paraná and later interned as a graphic designer at Econcept and SEBRAE. Mauro has also worked as a service designer at Creation Center T-Labs Telekom Innovation Laboratories, strategic design consultant at SAP, project manager at Service Design Network, and service and interface designer at Mauro Rego, among other roles. He has been a senior interaction designer at Google and service design director at Designit. Mauro has also taught service and interface design at Cologne University of Applied Sciences and UX design and design thinking at Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University, among other lecturing engagements. His interests lie in crafting, teaching, and designing end-to-end digital services, and he is an experienced visiting lecturer, consultant, and former co-founder of Boana.
