Lorenz Koch is a highly accomplished and experienced manager in the building materials industry, with a strong track record of success in commercial operations, major projects acquisition and customer service. He has a deep understanding of supply chain management, site operations, and brings a proven ability to develop and lead successful teams, driving profitable growth and expansion.

Koch holds an MBA from the prestigious Said Business School at the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Essex. He also studied Economics, in which he earned an MA from the University of Nottingham.

Prior to his current role as Business Partner for Major Project Bids at HeidelbergCement, Koch worked as National Commercial Planning Manager, Operations Manager, Manager of Business Development and Commercial Strategy, as well as Manager of Corporate Strategy and Risk Management, at the same company. Earlier in his career, Koch served as a CO2 Consultant at Holcim, a Project Officer for Energy and Climate at WBCSD. Koch's diverse career experiences have helped him build a broad and versatile skillset.
