Lindsay Geist is a clinician with extensive knowledge of mental illness and crisis intervention skills. She serves in roles that bridge the church and the mental health field, facilitating psychoeducation and outreach in the congregation, as well as bringing the community into the church through individual counseling services. Lindsay has a unique training background through a dual Masters of Divinity and Masters of Social Work, and she is credentialed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia and North Carolina. Lindsay also ordained as a Deacon in Full Connection in the North Georgia Conference of The United Methodist Church.

Lindsay's specialties include social work, therapy, pastoral counseling, Christian counseling, faith-based, and religious life. She has experience in crisis stabilization and detoxification, long-term outpatient therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy and interpersonal therapy. Lindsay has worked in various organizations such as The North Georgia Conference of The United Methodist Church, Seeds of Hope Counseling, Atlanta Day Shelter at Atlanta Mission, United Methodist Children's Home, Daymark Recovery Services and Christian Counseling Center.
