Chrystina Russell is an education leader and accomplished scholar with diverse experience in K-12 and higher education. She holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, an Advanced Certificate from Baruch College, and a Ph.D. from City University of New York Graduate Center. Additionally, she participated in the NYC Teaching Fellowship, where she earned her Master's degree. With over a decade of experience in the field of education, Russell has held various leadership positions at Southern New Hampshire University, including Senior Vice President & Executive Director, SNHU's Global Education Movement, and Vice President for Global Engagement. She co-founded Kepler, a non-profit organization that provides affordable higher education to students in Africa, and served as its Chief Academic Officer. Russell has also served in the NYC Department of Education in multiple capacities, including Administrator of Special Education, Citywide, and Founding Principal of the Global Technology Preparatory Public Middle School in East Harlem. Her expertise in global education, special education, education technology, and leadership has made her a well-regarded figure in the education industry.
