Maureen Black is an accomplished Pilates instructor turned People Operations and Culture Manager at Silofit, a fitness tech company based in Canada. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The University of Western Ontario and pursued Human Resources Management and Services at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology. With over a decade of professional experience, Maureen held several leadership positions at Equinox, where she served as Assistant General Manager, Membership Advisor, and Pilates Instructor. She also worked as a Senior Recruiting Consultant at Michael Page and Multi-Restaurant Operator at Tim Hortons. Maureen's diverse background in fitness, human resources, and management led her to take up the role of General Manager-Toronto at Silofit, where she oversaw operations, strategy development, and member engagement. In her current role as People Operations and Culture Manager, Maureen uses her expertise in recruitment, employee engagement, and culture development to help Silofit expand and hire top talent. In her free time, Maureen enjoys practicing yoga and exploring new workout routines.
