Martin Carpio is a UX advocate with a passion for promoting thoughtful design, fostering genuine interactions, and enhancing user experiences. Martin studied UX/UI Design at the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology from the same university. He has worked as a UI Designer at Out Boulder County and as a UX/UI Designer at Freelance. Prior to his career in UX, Martin worked in the restaurant industry as a Head Server/Manager at Crazy Rock’n Sushi and a Server at Umami Restaurant Group, LLC.

Martin's background in sociology and anthropology has given him a unique perspective on human behavior and a deeper understanding of how people interact with technology. He is a firm believer in the power of user-centered design to bring communities together and create better experiences for all users. With his diverse skill set and experience in both UX/UI design and restaurant management, Martin is well-equipped to manage complex projects and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
