Kyoko Shimokomaki is a highly educated and experienced teacher with a passion for the English language. She has studied Teacher Seminar, IB English LA1 at St Clare's College, Oxford University, UK, and English Language A1 at Jesus College, University of Cambridge, UK. She has also earned a Master's degree in English at The University of Southern Mississippi and studied Special Studies in/from English Translation at Universidade de São Paulo. She completed her undergraduate studies in English and Portuguese at Universidade Federal da Paraíba.

Kyoko has worked as an SAT Proctor at Chapel School and Graded School, an English Language A1 Examiner at International Baccalaureate Organisation, and an English/IB English LA1/LA2 Teacher at Chapel School - Escola Maria Imaculada. She has also been an English Teacher Assistant at St Paul's School. Her interests include reading, watching movies, travelling, and cooking.
