Katie Olson is a professional with extensive experience working in the field of community and economic development. She has a Master of City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Interdisciplinary Studies from American University. She has worked in a variety of organizations, including the Defense Digital Service, City Tech Collaborative, World Business Chicago, and the Peace Corps. Her work has covered areas such as program design, operations, services, and strategy management. She has also worked with public finance and grants. Currently, she is the Director / Deputy CDAO for Digital Services at Defense Digital Service where she focuses on providing digital solutions that make operations more efficient and effective.
