Habib Haddad is a prolific entrepreneur and investor with a steady hand in the tech industry. He currently works as the Managing Partner of E14 Fund, which primarily invests in early-stage technology companies. Before his venture into investment, he established Yamli, a startup that garnered acclaim for its successful efforts towards promoting the Arabic language through linguistics. In 2012, he sold the technology to Yahoo! He was also the founding member of Mok3, a spinoff company from MIT CSAIL that invented image-based modeling software. Habib’s efforts towards strengthening entrepreneurship ecosystems within MENA region earned him recognition as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2009, and as a top innovator under 35 by MIT Technology in 2011. He boasts of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer and Communication Engineering from the American University of Beirut and a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California. Habib serves as a member of several organizations, including the Advisory Board Member at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at American University of Beirut.
