Patrick Houston is an experienced political scientist and environmental policy expert with a strong background in sustainability research, climate action internships, and community outreach. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Environmental Policy from Swarthmore College and an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts from the Community College of Philadelphia.

Before joining New York Communities for Change as a Climate and Inequality Campaigns Associate, Houston held several professional positions in various organizations. He worked as a Research Associate at the Ministry of Finance in Chile and as a President's Sustainability Research Fellow at Swarthmore College. He also served as a Climate Action Intern at Environment America and as a Community Affairs Intern at Global Citizen Greater Philadelphia MLK Day of Service. Houston has also been a Team Manager at City Sports and an Environmental Conservationist at AmeriCorps-Nevada Conservation Corps.
