Baylor Fox-Kemper

Baylor Fox-Kemper is a highly accomplished professor of Earth, Environmental, and Planetary Sciences, with a focus on Physical Oceanography and Climate Sciences. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physical Oceanography from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Physics from Brandeis University, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Physics from Reed College. With expertise in numerical modeling, he studies the physics of the ocean and the ocean's role in Earth's climate system, producing parameterizations, diagnostics, and toy models to aid understanding and improve community models. Baylor has held positions at Brown University, the University of Colorado at Boulder, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Princeton University, and NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration.
