Saicharan Mujumdar is an accomplished software engineer with expertise in building scalable and distributed applications on AWS. He is a certified AWS Solutions Architect with extensive experience designing complex and available systems. Saicharan has made remarkable contributions to Amazon Lab126, where he created a new feature called Personal Data Search, which enables users to search their personal data using natural language. He leveraged several AWS products, including EC2, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, Streams, and Elastic Search to develop this innovative system.
Saicharan holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Cornell University, where he focused on databases and distributed systems. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Information Science and Engineering from R.V. College of Engineering, India, where he graduated magna cum laude. Saicharan has previously worked for Akamai Technologies and Oracle, where he developed web applications for large-scale enterprise solutions and optimized compression algorithms and B-Tree index traversal for the database index compression team, respectively.
Saicharan is passionate about technology and enjoys solving complex problems. He is an avid soccer player and a Manchester United fan.
