Megan Hallahan is an internationally-renowned youth empowerment leader with a wide range of experience in conflict management, human rights, peacebuilding, good governance and citizen journalism. Megan has spent the last 15 years leading youth initiatives across the Middle East, Africa and Europe, and has trained thousands of young people. She was the Director of the YaLa Young Leaders Academy from 2012 to 2017, where she led a team of Palestinians and Israelis to co-create and co-manage an academy that covered those aforementioned topics. Furthermore, Megan has held key positions at the Ara Pacis Initiative, a coalition of grassroots peacebuilders, and The Glocal Forum, a European non-profit which facilitated decentralized cooperation for peace and development. Megan Hallahan is an experienced public speaker, having presented at many prestigious universities including Princeton, Stanford and New York University.
