Amanda Collins is a well-qualified and experienced MRICS Quantity Surveyor with a Diploma in Project Management. With over two decades of working in the construction industry, Amanda has learned the ins and outs of the business. She started her career as a Quantity Surveyor for Thames Water Clean and Dirty Water projects in London. Her expertise and experience resulted in being appointed as a Senior Quantity Surveyor at Goldman Sachs London HQ Shell and Core, among other projects. Collins then moved to France in 2001 where she worked on domestic, office, and retail projects for over a decade. Amanda relocated to New Zealand where she worked for WSP Opus as a Delivery Team Manager managing facilities management, building warrant of fitness, and project management. In her present role as Delivery Team Manager at the Ministry of Education of New Zealand, Amanda is managing a team delivering school projects in the Central North Island NZ, from infrastructure upgrade to new classrooms, redevelopment, accessibility, and more.

When she is not working, she is passionate about volunteer work and supporting people to exceed their own expectations through the Duke of Edinburgh Award and staff management. Amanda is fluent in French and German and enjoys exploring the outdoors.
