Chris Salkeld

Chris Salkeld is an IT professional with a robust background in the field, accumulating over two decades of experience.

Starting in the manufacturing and utilities sectors, Chris transitioned to specialize in Retail for the last 18 years, honing his expertise in various areas of IT operations.

His roles have spanned across Service Delivery, Portfolio, Programme and Project Management, Vendor Management, OPEX and CAPEX Financial Governance, and most recently, Business Change.

Chris pursued his education at The Manchester Metropolitan University, where he acquired the foundational knowledge that would later support his thriving career.

His professional journey includes pivotal positions such as Head of Strategy Execution and Business Change at Matalan, showcasing his leadership skills and strategic prowess.

Prior to his current role, he served as the Head of IT Delivery and Operations at Matalan, gaining hands-on experience in managing IT functions at a high level within the retail industry.

Chris has also contributed his expertise as an IT Consultant at KNJ Consultancy Limited and Capgemini, demonstrating his versatility and ability to adapt to different environments.
