Sherri Hurn is an accomplished educator and administrator, boasting a 25-year career spread across several educational settings. She is highly skilled in facilitating student learning, providing leadership, supporting students and teachers with educational resources, and partnering with parents to design a well-rounded homeschool program.
Hurn holds five degrees, two of which were conferred by Fort Hays State University in Library Science Graduate and Educational Leadership, K-12 Building Leadership. Moreover, she studied BS, Secondary Education (Social Sciences) at Oklahoma Panhandle State University, and MS Ed, Instructional Technology, at West Texas A&M University, and completed her CLAD Certification, CTEL, Graduate at Brandman University.
She is a former Homeschool/Independent Study Teacher at Sutter Peak Charter School, Volunteer and Board Member at Faith Christian Schools Inc., Library Media Specialist at USD 218 Elkhart Schools, Principal at Kansas Connections Academy, Point Rock Academy, and Director, Elkhart Cyber School at USD 218, and sixth-grade teacher at Elkhart Middle School at USD 218.
