Kathy Laprade is a highly skilled and experienced professional in the healthcare industry. With a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Smith College and an ASN in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Holyoke Community College, Laprade has developed a wealth of knowledge over the years. As an RN, she has had the opportunity to work in various clinical settings, building adaptability and providing quality patient care. Her experience extends beyond clinical settings, as she has also worked in the insurance industry for commercial plans and managed care organizations.

Not only does Laprade have a diverse background, but she also has experience in the design and development of clinical workstations, as well as alerts and reminders modules. Additionally, she has spoken publicly on the topics of clinical guidelines and alerts and reminders, demonstrating her expertise in these areas. Her experience also includes performing software demonstrations at numerous client sites, trade shows, and user groups.

Throughout her career, Laprade has been responsible for planning, design, functional specification development, implementation, testing, training, and support of clinical applications in different clinical/ancillary settings. She has experience in Meaningful Use reporting and attestation, patient portal implementation, and workflow redesign for Patient Centered Medical Home readiness.

Currently, Laprade is a Regional Senior Systems Analyst at Trinity Health Of New England. Before this, she was a Senior Implementation Consultant at DST Health Solutions, Practice Manager at Hampshire Gastroenterology, Senior Healthcare Consultant at Hampden County Physicians, Clinical Product Manager at The TriZetto Group, and Director, Account Development at HBOC.
