Michael Roman
Michael Roman is an accomplished environmental studies professional with diverse experience in the nonprofit sector. Michael studied Environmental Studies at Oberlin College, attaining a Bachelor's degree. Throughout their career, Michael has been a Temporary Supervisor at Conservation Corps North Bay, where they managed a team performing diverse conservation work on public lands. At CHESS, Michael was a Clean Healthy Educated Safe and Sustainable Intern, conducting research and developing project proposals. As a Food Security Associate at Oberlin Community Services, Michael oversaw efforts to meet the food and nutrition needs of families in need. Additionally, they volunteered as a Grant Writer and Teacher at Fundación Niñas sin Miedo in Colombia, contributing to the education of girls and young women. Michael is also an experienced Undergraduate Research Assistant, having conducted research on a variety of environmental topics at Oberlin College.
