Hana Ghanim is a first-year Ph.D. student at Stanford Medical School with a passion for advancing gene editing technology to treat genetic diseases. Prior to pursuing her doctoral studies, Hana completed a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of California, Berkeley.

Hana's professional background is diverse, including experience as a Research Technologist and Research Associate at Gladstone Institutes, where she worked on stem cell research and regenerative medicine. Prior to this, she served as a Research Assistant at Kaufer Lab, and even worked as Editor-in-Chief, Managing Editor, and Web Editor for Al-Bayan Magazine.
