Anthony Maes

Anthony Maes is a seasoned Software Engineer turned Manager with over a decade of experience in the Augmented Reality industry. He graduated from INSA Rennes with an Ingénieur degree in Computer Science and pursued his studies at The University of Hong Kong. Starting as a Developer Intern at Layar, Anthony worked his way up the ladder and held several software engineering positions at renowned companies such as Tesla Motors and Niantic Inc. During his Tesla stint, he was instrumental in building the Autopilot UI. Later, he worked at 6D.ai and Dekko, before returning to his present role as a Manager at Niantic, Inc. Anthony's work as a Freelance developer at Mobilistar, HPSC, and Beyond Brands has further honed his software development skills. With his expertise and knowledge in Augmented Reality, Anthony Maes continues to make invaluable contributions to the field.
