Julie Amon is a highly qualified higher education professional with over two decades of academic and student affairs experience. Julie holds an Ed.D. in Higher Education Management from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master's in Higher Education and College Student Personnel from Kent State University, and a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Julie boasts a wealth of experience in faculty and staff professional development initiatives, policy, process, and procedure redesign, and curriculum design and development. She is a passionate advocate for student success, and her work in student recruitment, retention, and success initiatives has earned her an Outstanding First-Year Advocate award in 2011.

Julie's extensive background includes serving as Vice President for Student Development Services at Tarrant County College, Vice Chancellor for Undergraduate Education and Student Success at Rutgers University, Associate Chancellor for Undergraduate Education and Student Success at Rutgers University, Associate Chancellor for Academic Services, and Director of Educational Opportunity Fund Program at Rutgers University. She has also held positions as Acting Dean of Undergraduate Studies at Case Western Reserve University, Assistant Dean for First Year Students at Case Western Reserve University, and New Student Programs Coordinator at Wayne State University.
