Yun Jung is a well-educated individual with a diverse background in architectural engineering, facilities management, and construction engineering. She has a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Architectural and Building Sciences/Technology from Georgia Institute of Technology, where she served as a Facilities Manager. Yun also has a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Engineering Degree in Architectural Engineering with a concentration in Building Systems from Illinois Institute of Technology, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Yun has gained experience and skills from different working environments. Prior to her work at Georgia Tech, she worked as a Combat Engineer and Construction Engineer in the Republic of Korea Army. At All Chicago Inc., Yun served as a Project Engineer Intern. Yun also served as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at The Built Environment Research Group (BERG).
