Dave Wilson is a seasoned professional with vast experience in the world of consumer technology. Currently, he serves as the Vice President of Technology & Standards at the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), which is responsible for organizing the world-famous CES. At CTA, Dave leads numerous groups of industry volunteers tasked with developing consumer technology standards on various topics, from fitness technology and artificial intelligence to privacy and security. He collaborates with other organizations to create joint standards that benefit the consumer technology industry and other associated industries. With over 700 active participants, CTA's standards program is among the largest and most influential in the consumer technology sector. Prior to his current position, Dave held various positions at CTA, including Senior Director and Director of Technology & Standards. Before that, he worked as a Manager of Technical Regulatory Affairs at the National Association of Broadcasters and as a Staff Engineer at the same organization. Dave is an avid cyclist who frequently bikes to work and loves spending time by the ocean. He is a member of several professional associations, including the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the Audio Engineering Society, and the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers. Dave's expertise covers a wide range of topics, including emerging technologies, consumer electronics, and technology standards development.
