Decreased the number of GIS support issues when adding custom layers.• Replacing MomentJS with date-fns: Spearheaded and implemented pure, tree-shakeable, testable date-fns to replace heavy, object-oriented MomentJS. Improved application load times and application stability.

Incident Response Technologies

- Visualized 2D & 3D cadastral data from state and municipal governments as well as public data from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) using OpenLayers, Google Earth, GeoServer, and PostgreSQL / PostGIS.• Developed and maintained the front-end web mapping elements of the Geoescritorio Virtual application.• Created KMLs for Google Earth in PHP.Notable Accomplishments • GeoPortal for FONATUR: Developed a web application that queried our database depending on the search parameters and layers for the National Fund for the Promotion of Tourism (FONATUR) using jQuery, Cesium, PHP, GeoServer, and PostgreSQL / PostGIS. Visualized the progress of the project.• 3D Polygon Rendering Issue: Resolved a rendering issue with 3D polygons in Google Earth by outputting the vertices in a counter-clockwise order from PostgreSQL / PostGIS. Improved the shading of 3D polygons.• Geoserver SLD File Generation: Wrote NodeJS script to create SLDs. Reduced time spent creating and editing the SLD files by hand.

Saved a few hours in manually re-projecting and saving to a new file in QGIS.
