DK Matai is a highly accomplished design engineer specializing in high-performance computing architecture, risk management software, and product miniaturization. With a keen interest in the well-being of global society, Matai is also a philanthropist and angel investor, serving on several Boards of Advisors and Donors, including the World Future Council, The Shirley Foundation, and Tomorrow's Company.
Matai is the CEO and Chairman of mi2g, a globally recognized risk specialist firm, and the co-founder and Chairman of The Philanthropia, a collaborative organization dedicated to resolving complex global challenges. He is also the founder of Quantum Innovation Labs, which focuses on market-leading investments in emerging Quantum Tech 2.0 (QT2).
Matai's expertise lies in countering complex global threats, strategic risk management and visualization, contingency planning, electronic defense, and biometric authentication. His contributions to defense and global security analysis have been leveraged by several G20 government agencies, the UN, and NGOs.
Matai earned his MPhil/PhD in High-Performance Computing at Imperial College London and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Southampton. He has held senior roles at MEC, Tri Gold Swan, Resilux Capital, and HQR, and has also worked as a design engineer at IBM and Helvar Electrosonic.
