Mitchell Block is an accomplished and award-winning executive and creative producer, writer, and consultant in the film and television industry. He holds the prestigious Jon Anderson Chair, Professor of Documentary Studies and Production in the School of Journalism and Communications at the University of Oregon, and has taught producing at USC's School of Cinematic Arts for almost four decades. Block has extensive experience on both the buying and selling side of producing, placing works into distribution, evaluating and securing funding for projects, and marketing globally.
