Andreas von Richter is a seasoned investor and entrepreneur with a diverse background in finance, engineering, and cleantech R&D. He holds an M.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering from the Technical University Delft and an MBA from INSEAD. Andreas has over two decades of experience in venture capital and corporate development, having co-founded and managed GE Ventures in Europe and Israel from 2008 to 2013 and led Idinvest Partner’s mobility fund from 2014 to 2016. He currently serves as the Managing Director of LBBW Venture Capital GmbH, a $150M vehicle that invests in innovative startups in Europe and North America. As an investor, Andreas emphasizes sustainability, digitalization, and transportation as key investment themes, with a focus on startups developing innovative technologies in areas such as electric mobility, smart logistics, and the circular economy. He has invested in several unicorns, including Solaredge and View. In addition to his work as an investor, Andreas is involved in various organizations and serves on the boards of several startups in the tech and cleantech sectors.
