Marita holds a Ms.Sci in Pharmacy with a focus on pharmaceutical chemistry from the University of Helsinki, and she has also studied Leadership in Healthcare at Aalto University Executive Education Ltd.

She has held key roles at Roche, serving as a Community Lead in People & Culture (HR Director), Transformation Lead, Head of Medical Operations, and Head of Medical Services.

Prior to her time at Roche, Marita worked as a Development Manager & HUS Lean coach at Helsingin ja Uudenmaan sairaanhoitopiiri (HUS), Development Manager at Tamro Corp, and Quality Manager at Tamro Corp.

Her previous roles also include responsibilities such as Responsible Pharmacist, Drug Safety Manager, and HR Manager at Roche, along with managerial positions at Kauriala pharmacy.
