Rodney Schwartz

Rodney Schwartz is a highly accomplished and experienced impact investment banker, with a career spanning over four decades. Schwartz has worked as an analyst, strategic consultant, senior manager, corporate advisor, venture capitalist, and entrepreneur since 1980. Additionally, he is the founder and former CEO of ClearlySo, Europe's leading impact investment bank, which intermediates capital from investors to high-impact funds and enterprises.

Schwartz is passionate about working with impact entrepreneurs and institutional impact investors to help them achieve their goals. He is highly skilled in deal structuring, fundraising, investor identification and targeting, investment selection, transaction negotiation, portfolio evaluation, and impact assessment. Moreover, Schwartz has served as an advisory board member at Palatine Private Equity LLP, The Ex'tax Project, and the UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Association (UKSIF), amongst other prestigious organizations.

Schwartz is also an accomplished educator, having previously held a visiting lecturer position at Saïd Business School, Oxford University. Furthermore, he has served as a non-executive Board member at The Ethical Property Company and AXA Investment Managers. Schwartz has earned his BA in Political Science and MBA in Finance and Applied Economics from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School.
