- Won award for ‘Best Overall' personal project in my cohort during the Fall 2016 DevMountain Web Development Immersive.

- Built entire application by myself, including the system that transcribes lyrics with Google Cloud Speech API and uploads recordings to Amazon S3.

-  Created feature that allows users to bookmark important moments while recording, which then display as timed playback buttons, similar to SoundCloud's timed comments.

During this period of time I became familiar with the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, Javascript, and jQuery, as well as various website creation tools.  In 2014 I developed a solid understanding of WordPress and basic HTML syntax, which I leveraged to build the next version of my musician website.  In 2015 I learned how to utilize Squarespace to create the newest version of my musician website. As part of the curriculum for my Music, Science and Technology minor, I learned fundamental techniques for basic sound generation and manipulation by computers, as well as digital signal processing and user interface design.  Gained a solid understanding of the ChucK open source music programming language with which I built two projects:  a program that played back a pre-programmed musical piece using modified sine waves, and a program that could record musical phrases from a microphone input and play them back as loops synchronously or asynchronously for composition and performance purposes.
