Natalie Overton

Natalie Overton is an experienced diversity and inclusion manager who has worked for several organizations, including Warby Parker, Coop, and Teach For America. She honed her leadership and communication skills while studying for a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership, Communication, and a Master's in Teaching, Education at reputed institutions like Lipscomb University and City University of New York - Herbert H. Lehman College. Natalie started her career as a teacher and gradually moved into educational leadership and then diversity and inclusion management roles. During her previous roles as a Manager, Teacher Leadership Development, Founding Director, Diversity Equity Inclusiveness, and Site Director at Blue Engine, she developed programs to improve diverse representation in education as well as taught algebra and geometry to 5th-grade students. Before that, Natalie was a Corps Member at Teach For America and taught middle school students in a diverse set-up. During her stint as a middle school teacher, she taught multiple subjects, including ESL (English as a Second Language) and ICT (Information and Communication Technology). Natalie also had a brief stint as Founder and Head Consultant at Ommgirls, where she practiced mindfulness and yoga.
