He studied computer science at the University of Virginia, the National University of Singapore, and the Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

Throughout his career, Mr. Yu held leadership positions in top-notch tech companies, including NIO, Vipshop, sii.ai, Holidale Inc., Merchant Link, Infoblox, Innovative Query, Inc., iMagicLab, Endeavor Security Inc, as well as co-founder and VP Technology at Innvo Systems. Mr. Yu's leadership led to the development of various business-critical products with massive scales, serving huge customer bases worldwide.

At sii.ai, he spearheaded the development of hardware and software solutions for the healthcare industry. At Holidale, Inc., he successfully designed and managed the company's vacation rental platform that streamlined communication between property managers and guests. He also leveraged his expertise in machine learning to develop predictive algorithms while working at Infoblox.

Mr. Yu earned an MCS in Computer Science, and his academic experience also includes previous research work as a Research Scientist at the University of Virginia.
