Katie Zabel is an enthusiastic and creative camp director and graphic designer with a passion for kids, art, photography, travel, and trying new things. She studied Graphic Design at Doane University and has worked in various organizations such as Nebraska 4-H Camps, Oasis Summer Day Camps, Emerald Cove Outdoor Science Institute, Camp Ocean Pines, and Liberty First Credit Union. She is currently a full-time program director for Nebraska 4-H Camps, where she oversees the residential camp program, hires and trains staff, designs marketing and promotional materials, and supervises all camp activities. Katie has experience working in the San Bernardino mountains, where she photographed all activities and created a video each week. She also worked as a Program Coordinator at Camp Ocean Pines, where she developed, organized, and trained counselors in summer camp program areas. As a part-time Graphic Designer for Oasis Day Camps in New York, NY, she designs marketing and promotional materials. Katie is an expert in program management, staff training, graphic design, photography, and event coordination.
