Barzel Segal is a highly accomplished technology executive, product manager, and data architect with decades of experience working for multiple celebrated organizations. Segal prioritizes people and works hard to make this world a better place. Segal graduated from UC San Diego, where they also pursued doctoral studies in cognitive science.

Segal's impressive career started as a management consultant at Educational Dynamics before co-founding LawLink. Later, Segal became a senior consultant at The Valiant Group before taking on a series of increasingly senior roles at Mindjet, serving as senior training manager, senior manager of professional services, data architect, and manager of marketing operations, among other positions.

Following Mindjet, Segal became director of technical services at Identified, eventually going on to serve as the VP of engineering and then the SVP of operations. Next, Segal led product management, predictive analytics, and search efforts as a director at Workday. Later, Segal became SVP director of software engineering at Workday, where the focus was on machine learning and search functionality.

Most recently, Segal served as executive VP and SVP of engineering at Forto, a fast-growing digital shipping and logistics company. Along the way, Segal has also been an advisor at Layer, among other advisory roles.
