David Edell
Carmel Napolitano is an experienced executive search specialist, executive coach and consultant with over three decades of experience. She has worked with various nonprofit organizations, including those in health care, human services, public policy, education, Jewish community organizations, and philanthropic foundations. As a thought partner, executive coach, and career advisor, Carmel assists executives in refining their leadership strategies, decision-making, and behaviors. Additionally, she consults on executive transitions, recruitment, organization staffing, strategic direction, board-staff relations, and career management.
Carmel holds a Master’s degree in Social Work Community Planning from the University of Maryland School of Social Work, a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Boston University, and a one-year program degree from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Previously, she served as the Director of Major Gifts, Executive Director for Campaign, and Director of Leadership Development at UJA-Federation of New York, and as the Director of University Programs at United Jewish Appeal.
